The rich Swiss and Amish heritage can be tasted by visiting our local artisan merchants, specializing in artisan-crafted dishes, cheese, wines, traditional recipes, and more. Many of the shops and restaurants are closed on Sundays.
A part of the largest Amish settlement in the world, Sugarcreek continues to identify with its Swiss roots via the Ohio Swiss Festival and its title of “The Little Switzerland of Ohio”. Stroll through the downtown district and see the murals on many of the storefronts showcasing Swiss architecture.
